Build on what you learned during your shadow shift! During this guided training shift, you'll take a more hands-on role in caring for our shelter dogs while receiving support from an experienced volunteer or staff member. You'll practice dog handling, walking, enrichment, and daily care routines to help prepare you for independent volunteer shifts.
Arrival Instructions: Please enter through the front doors and check in with our front desk receptionist.
Requirements:
- Approved as a volunteer
- Attended in-person orientation
- Completed Level 1 training
- Attended your first training shift
