What We Do
The Orientation & Onboarding Program is designed to prepare new volunteers for a safe, confident, and rewarding experience at Saginaw County Animal Care & Control. Through orientation, required training, shadow shifts, and guided learning opportunities, volunteers will become familiar with shelter procedures, safety expectations, animal handling, and our mission before volunteering independently. Our goal is to provide every volunteer with the knowledge, support, and confidence needed to make a positive impact from day one.
