What We Do
The Special Events Program gives volunteers the opportunity to support Saginaw County Animal Care & Control outside of their regular volunteer shifts. Whether we're attending a community event, hosting an adoption event, assisting with a vaccine clinic, or participating in a local outreach opportunity, these events help us connect with the community and promote our mission.
Volunteers in this program may assist with:
- Adoption events
- Low-cost vaccine clinics
- Educational events
- Seasonal events and special programs
- Event setup and cleanup
- Greeting visitors and sharing information about SCACC
Event opportunities vary throughout the year and may take place both at the shelter and throughout the Saginaw County community.
