What We Do
Every photo, social media post, event, and success story helps connect our community with the animals at Saginaw County Animal Care & Control. The Marketing & Community Outreach Program supports our mission by increasing awareness, promoting adoptable animals, celebrating volunteer efforts, and educating the public about the services we provide.
Volunteers in this program may assist with:
- Photography and videography
- Social media content creation
- Graphic design
- Writing pet biographies and promotional posts
- Community events and outreach
- Special projects and campaigns
Some opportunities may be completed at the shelter, while others can be done remotely, depending on the project.
As this program continues to grow, additional opportunities will become available. Volunteers with experience in photography, marketing, communications, graphic design, videography, or related fields are encouraged to participate, but experience is not required for every opportunity.
